St Jerome’s Catholic Church

St Jerome’s, while structurally sound, lacked warmth and some fundamental liturgical elements. The challenge was to infuse life and warmth into the space without major structural alterations.

Our team designed and built two Baroque-style structures on either side of the sanctuary to house statues and religious imagery. The crowning glory was a hand-carved timber crucifix from Italy, hung from the ceiling to hover gracefully above the altar.

As an extension of this beautification, a side chapel dedicated to Our Lady was also built, mirroring the design of the primary structures.

“Right from the start, Christian was able to quickly understand the scope of the project, and clearly outline the stages and milestones to be achieved. I was impressed by how he modernised the interior while keeping true to its spiritual roots.

What stood out to me was his ability to work with everyone involved, adapting when needed and making sure our vision was realised. We are grateful for the warmth and devotion he brought to the project.”
